The Municipal Council of Aytos held its 29th regular meeting, covering 16 reports. The main topics were the financial provision of projects, waste management, and social services.
With 28 votes in favor, the councilors accepted Stoyan Stoyanov's proposal to issue a promissory note in favor of the State Fund 'Agriculture', securing an advance payment for a project within the framework of the Strategy for Community-Led Local Development 2023-2027. The project is implemented by the Association 'Local Initiative Group - Aytos'.
At the proposal of Mayor Vasil Edrev, the recovery of unspent monthly provisions from RIOSV - Burgas (248,808 euros) was approved. The funds are needed to co-finance the waste management plan for 2026.
Mayor Edrev emphasized the efforts to modernize cleaning equipment and the negative impact of political stagnation on the financial condition of the municipality. The Council approved the project 'Youth Center Aytos - Inspiration for the Young' and ensured the sustainability of child support services.
Reports on waste management, air quality, and the implementation of the General Urban Plan (until 2033) were adopted. The sale of properties and the use of pastures were approved.
