Modernization of social infrastructure in Sozopol
In May 2026, Sozopol Municipality began the implementation of a significant project aimed at improving the material base for providing quality social services. Funding is provided by the "Social Protection" Fund under the Ministry of Labour and Social Policy.
The project is aimed at creating a safe, accessible, and quality environment for the most vulnerable groups in our society.
What does the project include?
- Carrying out construction and installation works in the courtyard area of the CSRI and DCU.
- Replacement of the depreciated fence with a new, modern fencing system.
- Construction of a new courtyard gate for better control and security.
Significance for the community
The outdoor environment is a key element of the therapeutic process. The new improvements will allow for more physical exercises, outdoor therapeutic activities, and social contacts, which are vital for the physical and emotional development of children with disabilities.
Budget and deadlines
The total value of the project amounts to 40,129.58 EUR, with 10% of the funds provided as co-financing by Sozopol Municipality. All planned activities must be completed by the end of 2026.
