Nessebar Municipality Renovates "Yana Laskova" Community Center Under Recovery Plan

Nessebar Municipality is launching a project for the energy renovation of the "Yana Laskova" community center in the Old Town, funded by the National Recovery and Resilience Plan. The project will improve the building's energy efficiency, leading to significant energy and environmental benefits.

Nesebar Municipality has started the activities for the renovation of the building of the "Yana Laskova" community center in the Old Town. The financing of the energy renovation of the cultural institution in the UNESCO town is provided by the National Recovery and Resilience Plan.

"After the implementation of all planned energy-saving measures, the building will achieve an energy consumption class - 'A', which will lead to savings of primary non-renewable energy in the amount of 271,056.90 kW/h per year and saved carbon emissions in the amount of 57.245 tons per year," commented the Mayor of Nesebar, Nikolay Dimitrov, and added that "with the implementation of this project, we not only improve the energy efficiency of the municipal infrastructure, but also provide a more comfortable environment for citizens, while contributing to the protection of the environment and the sustainable development of Nesebar Municipality."

The project provides for the implementation of engineering (design and construction) to improve the energy characteristics of the building - thermal insulation of facade walls, roof, floor, replacement of windows and lighting, installation of an aerothermal heat pump for heating and ventilation.

The value of the approved financial assistance for the implementation of the project amounts to BGN 911,369 and will fully cover the implementation of all activities.
