The Municipal Council in Tsarevo has decided to designate over 40 properties for the temporary placement of tents, campers, and caravans in zones 'A' and 'B', outside the territory of the beaches, sand dunes, and categorized campsites. This decision, made at today's meeting of the Municipal Council, aims to regulate camping outside the beaches and protected areas, while ensuring safety and convenience for tourists.
The properties designated for this purpose are located in Tsarevo, Ahtopol, and the villages of Varvara, Sinemorets, and Rezovo. They include agricultural land, fields, pastures, meadows, and other municipal areas. The mayor of Tsarevo, Marin Kirov, emphasized that the goal is to preserve the beauty of the coastline by finding a balance between the interests of investors and the preservation of nature.
According to Kirov, this decision defines the list of suitable places that need to go through the necessary procedures. He added that the regulation specifies a period for the placement of campsites from May to October and a three-year rental period. The municipality plans to attract hundreds of tourists and contribute to the development of the settlements, especially in Sinemorets, where there is a problem with illegal camping.
In addition, the Municipality is launching an initiative to build municipal housing and adopted decisions related to the Center for Social Rehabilitation and Integration, the Home Social Patronage, and education. It was also decided to establish the right to use the Center for Excellence at Sofia University for the creation of a laboratory for the study of manuka honey.
