Burgas Mayor Dimitar Nikolov proposes that the municipal enterprise "Chistota Eko" take over the operation of the anaerobic installation for separately collected biodegradable waste and related activities. The reason is the termination of the contract with "SBBG - Burgas DZZD" due to financial difficulties.
The contract was terminated by mutual consent, with the deadline for handing over the installation being January 31. A quick decision is needed to select an operator.
The anaerobic installation is financed under the "Environment" program 2014-2020, with the municipalities of Burgas, Nessebar and Pomorie as co-owners.
It is proposed to increase the staff of "Chistota Eko." Waste collection from Nessebar and Pomorie will be carried out by them with their own resources, and 4 specialized waste collection vehicles will be provided to them free of charge.
