Help for the affected family in the village of Dimchevo
The Municipal Council in Burgas has made a humanitarian decision to allocate up to 21,000 euros for urgent repairs to a residential building in the village of Dimchevo. The property was seriously damaged after a devastating fire at the end of January this year.
The funds are provided from the municipal budget for activities related to the elimination of the consequences of natural disasters and accidents.
Elderly people aged 64 and 72 lived in the burnt-down house and were accommodated in a nursing home after the incident. Mayor Dimitar Nikolov submitted the report after it became clear that, although local residents are ready to help with voluntary labor and donations, restoring the structure requires significant financial resources and specialized construction intervention.
What does the repair include?
- Complete replacement of the roof structure;
- Installation of new roof tiles and waterproofing;
- Installation of new gutters and downpipes;
- Finishing work on the building's chimneys.
The construction and repair work will be carried out by the municipal enterprise "Municipal Properties" – Burgas, which guarantees the quality of execution and the targeted expenditure of funds.
