Burgas Municipality opened the first application session for 2026 for project proposals to the municipal “Culture” fund. The period for accepting documents will continue until February 18 inclusive.
Within this session, artists and cultural organizations can apply in five main areas, which cover the organization of festivals and significant cultural events, the establishment of Burgas as a film destination, as well as the provision of grants for co-financing projects under international, national and regional programs.
The program continues to support the mobility of local authors, providing opportunities to promote Burgas culture and art at national and international levels.
Special attention is also paid to literature, as the fund will accept projects to support the publication of manuscripts by Burgas authors in the genres of poetry, prose, history and local studies.
Burgas Municipality specifies that applications are made entirely electronically through the official website of the fund, and the submitted proposals will be reviewed and evaluated by a specialized commission after the end of the acceptance period.
