At a ceremony on the occasion of World Social Work Day on March 17th at 2:00 PM in the "Foros" hall of the International Congress Center, Burgas Municipality will award the invisible superheroes of the city. The event is dedicated to the people who daily care for and support the most vulnerable in society. The awards for their dedicated work will be presented personally by the Mayor of Burgas Municipality, Dimitar Nikolov.
Social work is a calling that rarely receives applause. It does not seek the spotlights. It happens quietly - in people's homes, in conversations that restore hope, and in the support that changes destinies. That is why on this day deserved recognition will be given to the invisible "super powers" of our city - the people who, with their dedication, transform Burgas into a city of care and compassion.
During the ceremony, individuals and teams from the social sphere who, with their dedication and professionalism, have become an inspiring example for the community will be honored. Awards will be presented in 14 categories, including "Home of Support", "Protection and Development", "Connectedness", "Leadership - light for others", "The Shield in the Storm", "Spark of Hope", "Protector", "The Voice that Changes", "Silent Strength", "Heart Without Borders", "Teamwork - unified rhythm and synergy" and others.
The initiative aims to give deserved recognition to social workers and specialists who often remain outside public attention, but daily contribute to a better life for many people.
