Investments in Bulgarian Cinema
The Burgas Municipal Council has approved the allocation of 60,000 euros for the creation of the feature film "Stoichkov – Once Upon a Time in Bulgaria," produced by Alexander Sano. Deputy Mayor Diana Savateva emphasized that the city is strengthening its position as a leading destination for film productions.
Social Policies and Healthcare
The municipality is expanding its support for the integration of refugees and updating the management of key healthcare facilities.
At today's meeting, the new managers of three municipal hospitals were elected:
- Complex Oncology Center: Dr. Nikolay Kiselkov
- Mental Health Center: Dr. Nadya Zhelyazkova
- Specialized Hospital for Pneumo-Phthisiatric Diseases: Dr. Anelia Dimitrova
Infrastructure Projects and Development
The Council adopted a number of decisions to improve the urban environment, including:
- Construction of a sports facility in "Ezero" park with 155,000 euros allocated in the 2027 budget.
- Establishment of building rights for new electrical substations in the "Meden Rudnik" residential area.
- Approval of detailed development plans for the villages of Tvarditsa, Izvor, and the "Banevo" district.
