Burgas Ombudsman Todor Stamboliev announced that he has been notified of problems with the electricity supply in the Burgas district of "Banevo", after a collective complaint from residents of the district, supported by over 150 signatures, was received by him.
According to Stamboliev, citizens report that there have been voltage drops and frequent, albeit short-lived, power outages for a long time, which intensify after 5:00 PM, when consumption increases sharply.
This creates a real risk of damage to electrical appliances and household appliances, disrupts normal living, and endangers the safety and comfort of the residents, the ombudsman points out.
The residents of the district are urging an urgent inspection of the electricity distribution network, measurement and documentation of the voltage during peak hours, as well as the taking of specific technical measures to permanently solve the problem.
I call on EVN to respond immediately, to carry out the necessary inspections and to inform the public about the actions taken, Todor Stamboliev states. He adds that he firmly stands behind the people of the district and will follow the development of the case until its actual resolution.
