New training opportunities in Burgas
The "Varli Bryag" Training Center of the Regional Directorate "Fire Safety and Civil Protection" (RD FSCP)-Burgas features a fully renovated training ground for road safety. This initiative is part of a broader program to improve infrastructure for emergency preparedness.
The complete renovation and expansion of the facility will allow for higher quality practical training for both "Traffic Police" officers and fire brigade teams.
What does the new training ground include?
The project, funded by the Road Safety Fund, has brought important infrastructure improvements:
- Updated traffic light equipment: Functional traffic regulation systems;
- New road markings: Clear and visible movement zones;
- Expanded area: The possibility of deploying a temporary checkpoint.
Preparing for the future
The "Varli Bryag" Training Center serves as a regional base for the Ministry of Interior for specialized training in disasters, accidents, and emergency situations. In addition to the road safety zone, the center features:
- Specialized training classrooms;
- A zone for post-earthquake actions;
- A training ground for flood scenarios.
Important event: On April 30, in the renovated training ground, preschool-aged children will undergo their first road safety lesson in a real-world environment, making learning accessible and interactive from an early age.
