Securing navigation near Sozopol
Navigation in the area of the damaged discharge pipe of the wastewater treatment plant near the "Zlatna Ribka" campsite in Sozopol is now fully secured, the Ministry of Transport announced.
After establishing the exact coordinates of the affected section, the Maritime Administration Executive Agency issued a navigational warning for a danger area to prevent accidents involving passing vessels.
The State Enterprise "Port Infrastructure" took immediate measures by placing a marker buoy, which:
- Marks the exact location of the damage
- Provides the necessary visibility for seafarers
The area currently remains under constant monitoring, and the institutions confirm that the incident does not pose any difficulties for navigation in the region.
