So far, there is no information about any injured or deceased Bulgarian citizens in connection with the events in the Middle East, said Nikolai Vanchev, director of the "Consular Relations" directorate at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MFA) at a briefing of the Crisis Staff regarding the security situation in the Middle East and support for Bulgarian citizens located in the region.

We are ready to use aircraft to assist Bulgarian citizens once the crisis is over and the airspace opens, he pointed out. Bulgarian tourists who have completed their stay in hotels have secured accommodation and access to food, Vanchev added.
