Joy at the Burgas Zoo! A new baby has arrived in the family of the common elands, and it's already taking its first steps.
The little one is a representative of the largest antelope in the world and is doing great, nursing from its mother and curious about the world around it.
The common eland originates from Africa and is an impressive species, with adult animals able to reach a weight of up to 800-900 kg. Despite their large size, they are surprisingly fast and can jump to a height of over 1.5 meters.

The zoo shares that every newborn animal is a joy and a sign that the animals feel good and are developing peacefully.
