UNICEF Bulgaria with a new mission: "There is no such thing as someone else's child"
In the year the UN Children's Fund marks its 80th anniversary, UNICEF Bulgaria is launching the inspiring campaign "There is no such thing as someone else's child". The initiative is based on the fundamental belief that caring for children is a shared responsibility of the entire society.
"Every child has the right to care, education, and protection from violence," the organization emphasizes.
What will the funds be used for?
The raised resources will be directed toward key programs that change lives:
- Eliminating violence: Active measures to protect children in every environment.
- Inclusive education: Ensuring an equal start and quality learning.
- Early intervention: Support for the care of the youngest.
- Crisis support: Aid for children affected by natural disasters and humanitarian crises around the world.
The campaign comes at a time of deepening cooperation between state institutions and UNICEF. At the end of June, the Minister of Labor and Social Policy, Natalia Efremova, and Christina de Bruin discussed future reforms, highly praising the efforts made so far to improve policies for supporting Bulgarian families.
