The Burgas regional office of the Bulgarian Chamber of Builders has given its annual "Quality Mark 2026" award to the new St Dimitar of Thessaloniki care home for the elderly in Aytos.
The building cost more than €3.7m, paid from the National Recovery and Resilience Plan.
It was designed by the architecture studio RT Consult and built by the company Hadistroy.
It is the second award for the building. It earlier won first place in the category for socially important and sustainable projects at the national Luxury Property Awards 2026.
