New Member of Parliament in 2nd Burgas Electoral District
Galya Vasileva took the oath of office as a Member of Parliament from the GERB-UDF list. She takes the seat of Lyuben Dilov, who was unable to take the oath due to illness and passed away on June 2.

Discussion of the State Budget
Members of Parliament began debates on the first reading of amendments to the so-called extension budget. The proposal includes raising the debt ceiling by up to 3.8 billion euros.
Rejected Hearing Proposals
- The proposal by Petar Petrov ("Vazrazhdane") for a hearing of the Minister of Foreign Affairs and the acting Chief Secretary of the Ministry of Interior regarding foreign influence was not accepted.
- The request by Bozhidar Bozhanov (DB) for an investigation into the activities of the Deputy Governor of the NHIF, Momchil Mavrov, by the State Agency for National Security (SANS) was not admitted for a vote.
