Mayor of Varna: District administrations to take on a role against illegal construction
The Mayor of Varna, Blagomir Kotsev, has announced a new strategy for dealing with the problem of illegal construction in the "Baba Alino" area. According to the mayor, effective control requires the active involvement of the district administrations, as a large part of the competencies regarding construction supervision are delegated precisely to them.
"I insist that the district administrations take their responsibility and carry out regular on-site inspections," Kotsev stated.
What actions are ahead?
- Enhanced control: District administrations are required to inspect sites and prepare documentation for every identified violation.
- Administrative measures: In case of confirmed violations, procedures for issuing demolition orders will be initiated directly.
- Dynamic schedule: The process of removing illegal structures in "Baba Alino" continues actively.
By the end of the current week alone, it is expected that two more orders for the demolition of illegal structures in the area will be issued. The municipality emphasizes that it will not compromise with violators and that the rule of law will be restored.
