Nesebar Municipality has taken urgent measures to improve the lighting and safety along a key pedestrian route connecting Ravda and Nesebar. Against the backdrop of increasing pedestrian activity, including during the dark hours of the day, temporary solar lighting fixtures were installed along the coastal promenade.
As a reporter on the scene, I feel the falling shadows of the sunset descending over the coast, while the last tourists of the day stream along the alley. The solar panels, installed to provide temporary lighting, look like harbingers of change, promising greater safety and comfort for all who choose to walk along this picturesque route.
The municipality's decision comes in response to the increased flow of people who have chosen to take advantage of the alley, which passes through picturesque places. Despite expectations for future landscaping, which will transform the area, the procedures for coordination with the competent ministries and institutions have not yet been completed. While these administrative processes are finalized, the municipality is taking preventive measures.
The temporary measures aim to meet the needs of citizens, providing better lighting and increased security for all who use it. Walks along the alley will now be safer, especially when the sun hides behind the horizon.
After the completion of the design and construction of the entire alley, these temporary lighting fixtures will be moved and replaced with new, specially designed alley lighting. This is a key element of the planned overall landscaping of the coastal area, which will significantly increase its appearance and attractiveness.
