Today, the sunny sky over Nessebar reflected the optimism of the city authorities, who announced the beginning of the functioning of the new parking lot on "Ivan Vazov" Street. The mayor of the municipality, Nikolai Dimitrov, revealed details about the new facility, which is intended to ease traffic and provide more convenience for the residents and guests of the city.
The new parking lot, located on two floors, offers a total of 177 parking spaces, enough to meet the growing needs of the city. The facility is equipped with modern systems, including an elevator, video surveillance for security, and fire protection, ensuring safety and comfort for all users.
The realization of this project is an important step in the efforts of the municipality to provide more convenience for the citizens and guests of Nessebar through better traffic organization, especially during the summer months when the tourist season is at its peak," emphasized Mayor Dimitrov. He emphasized the importance of such projects, especially given the influx of tourists during the active summer period.
The introduction of the free 20 minutes of parking is a key moment in the new policy. "Our fellow citizens should know that in the first 20 minutes the parking in the parking zone will be free. This regime is mainly oriented towards parents who bring their children by car to "SU Lyuben Karavelov" and need time to drop them off at school, the mayor added. The initiative is aimed at supporting parents and facilitating their daily traffic.
In-depth analysis of local needs and planning were at the heart of this project. The funding for the new parking lot is entirely from the state budget. This has been achieved through a decree of the Council of Ministers, supporting infrastructure projects ready for implementation.
