Situation at the border with Romania and ferry connections
Important announcement: The "Oryahovo – Bechet" and "Svishtov – Zimnicea" ferry connections are suspended due to the low water level of the Danube River.
Additionally, emergency operations are being carried out at the "Ostrov – Chichu" ferry to clear stranded equipment that has been obstructing access to the shore.
At all other border crossings with Romania and the Republic of North Macedonia, traffic is proceeding normally.
