Part of the Varna neighborhood "Briz" was affected by flooding due to a water pipe failure caused by a private company during construction activities. The burst water pipe caused a spectacular geyser near a building under construction, and the water flooded the first floor of a nearby apartment building. Some of the residents had to be evacuated.
Mud and inert materials were flowing down the streets, and photos and videos circulated on social media.
Teams from ViK - Varna are working hard to repair the damage.
The areas "Izgrev", "Sotira", "Akchelar", "St. Nikola" and part of the "Briz" neighborhood are without water.
ViK-Varna expects the water supply to be restored around 10:00 PM.
