Intensive work by fire departments
Over the past 24 hours, teams from the General Directorate "Fire Safety and Population Protection" have responded to 189 incident reports, successfully extinguishing a total of 136 fires.
Distribution of material damage
Of the total number of incidents, 29 resulted in direct material damage. Their distribution is as follows:
- 7 fires in residential buildings;
- 2 in industrial buildings;
- 1 in an auxiliary building;
- 10 in vehicles;
- 4 in agriculture;
- 5 other incidents.
It is important to note that 107 of the fires resulted in no direct material damage. These were mainly in dry grass, forest litter, stubble, and waste.
Additional activities
In addition to extinguishing fires, the services performed 42 rescue activities and assistance operations. Unfortunately, 11 false calls were also registered during the day, which hindered the teams' work.
