Drastic differences in reported turnover near Varna

An inspection by the National Revenue Agency (NRA) in Varna has revealed significant discrepancies in the revenue of a large amusement complex. During a "secret shopper" operation, it was determined that the establishment was reporting significantly less money compared to the actual number of visitors.

"From a turnover of 100-200 euros for the facilities in June, it increased to 3000 euros in July," pointed out Lora Georgieva from the NRA – Varna.

Findings from the inspection:

The complex is currently under seven-day daily monitoring. Since the start of the summer season, tax authorities in Varna have conducted over 1200 inspections, during which 250 violations were identified.
