Discussion on the Future of Media
Today in Sveti Vlas, the sixteenth edition of the prestigious "Sveti Vlas" television journalism competition kicked off. The forum, organized by the "Circle 11" association chaired by Assoc. Prof. Georgi Lozanov, began with a professional debate focused on the relationship between traditional television and new online platforms.
"Television journalism is at a turning point where integration with digital media is essential to maintain public influence," the organizers noted.
The discussion, moderated by Boyko Vasilev, features leading media experts such as Assoc. Prof. Orlin Spasov and Prof. Boyan Znepolski, along with a number of well-known television personalities.
Tradition and Recognition
At the official evening ceremony, the following awards will be presented:
- The Grand Prize for outstanding achievements;
- The Special Prize for innovative ideas;
- The Viewers' Choice Award, organized in partnership with "24 Chasa" newspaper.
The competition, established in 2011 by iconic figures such as Ivan Garelov and Petko Bocharov, continues to be a benchmark for professionalism, evaluating criteria such as civic courage and original style.
