State Fund Agriculture has paid over 15.95 million euros (15,950,916.49 euros) under the intervention "Coupled Income Support for Protein Crops" for Campaign 2025. A total of 13,495 farmers received financial support.

The aid is aimed at producers of beans (for grain), lentils, chickpeas, peas for grain (winter and spring), peanuts, soybeans, broad beans, alfalfa, sainfoin, vetch, clover, cowpeas, bitter vetch, lupine, bird's-foot trefoil, as well as mixtures of these crops.

The rate for Campaign 2025 is set at 131.90 euros per hectare. Its amount is fixed by an order of the Minister of Agriculture and Food, which has been published on the State Fund Agriculture website.

Farmers who meet the requirements of Art. 35 of Ordinance No. 3 of 10.03.2023 are eligible for support. They must cultivate a minimum of 0.5 hectares of protein crops – in total or divided into separate plots – and the areas must be eligible for support under the Basic Income Support for Sustainability (BISS).

In implementation of the current legislation, a 1.5% deduction from the aid has been withheld from the paid amounts, which represents each farmer's contribution to the Mutual Fund.
