Bulgargaz proposes an increase: How much will natural gas cost in September?

Bulgargaz has proposed a price of €41.31/MWh for September, an increase of 4.77% compared to August. A final decision from the EWRC is pending.

New proposal for the price of natural gas

"Bulgargaz" has officially submitted an application to the Energy and Water Regulatory Commission (EWRC) for the approval of the natural gas price for September. The proposed value is 41.31 euros per megawatt-hour (MWh), and this amount does not include the costs for access, transmission, excise duty, and VAT.

The proposed price marks an increase of 4.77% compared to the approved price for August, which was 39.43 euros per megawatt-hour.

The decision of the EWRC is of key importance for gas distribution companies and end users in the country, as it determines the energy costs for the upcoming month.
