"Bulgacon" Science Fiction Short Story Contest 2024
The "Bulgacon" National Science Fiction Festival has announced a new short science fiction story contest. This year, the event will take place in Varna, hosted by the "Pencho Slaveykov" Regional Library.
The theme of this year's edition is "Beyond the (Un)known Shores" – a call to explore new horizons in imagination and technology.

"Bulgacon" is an annual gathering that has been operating as a traveling festival since 2022. The program includes discussions, workshops, and exhibitions focused on the intersection of human imagination and artificial intelligence.
The organizers are the "Ivan Efremov" Integral Science Fiction Club, in collaboration with the "Pencho Slaveykov" Regional Library and the Creative House "Varna" of the BAS.
