The agricultural forum will continue until November 29. The motto of this year's edition of the agro seminar is “Agriculture in Restart”.
Following last year's theme “The Next Agricultural Revolution”, this year's seminar focuses on change and a new beginning for the agricultural sector. The main goal is to discuss key challenges and new directions for the development of Bulgarian agriculture.
The program includes four strategic panels: “Water - a strategic resource of tomorrow”, “Legislative reforms in agriculture”, “A look into the future: The Common Agricultural Policy (CAP) after 2027” and “From the Black Sea to the world: The markets for Bulgarian grain”.
In the first panel after the official opening of the forum today, the Minister of Agriculture and Food Georgi Tahov, the Minister of Energy Zhecho Stankov, the Minister of Environment and Water Manol Genov, the Deputy Minister of Energy Georgi Samandov and the Executive Director of the National Electric Company (NEK AD) Georgi Dobrev will participate.
Over 500 representatives from the sector, farmers from all over the country, experts, institutions, representatives of the legislative and executive authorities, European guests and exhibiting companies are expected to participate in the agro seminar in Albena.
During the forum, there will also be stands of companies that will present their latest technologies, products and solutions for sustainable and modern agriculture.
Among the highlights of the forum are the B2B meetings with key directorates from the Ministry of Agriculture and Food. They give farmers the opportunity to receive direct answers and guidelines on current issues related to practice.
The seminar also includes two official gala dinners with a musical program, which will create conditions for informal communication, exchange of ideas and new partnerships.
