Expert reports aimed at uncovering the possible motives behind the tragic end of the six men are expected to be presented by the authorities on Monday. At that time, the Ministry of Interior and the Prosecutor's Office will hold a briefing dedicated to the progress of the investigation into the incident that occurred near the "Petrohan" mountain hut and below Okolchitsa peak. The focus of the analysis is on the results of forensic psychiatric and psychological evaluations, which are expected to shed light on the actions of the group led by their informal leader, Ivaylo Kalushev.
In parallel, work continues to clarify the economic side of the case. Investigators are examining the sources of the donations received by the deceased, and for this purpose, tax audits of their financial status have been ordered.
According to media reports, the investigation did not stop even during the summer months. Active measures have been taken on the case, with evidence being supplemented through new witness interrogations conducted just a few days ago.
