Regarding the "Historical Park" case, the Ministry of Interior has submitted to the Prosecutor's Office 28 investigation files related to "Velichie" leader Ivelin Mihaylov and the activities of the complex. The data were announced in the context of an investigation into property fraud and money laundering conducted by the Anti-Corruption Commission.
The National Assembly formed a temporary parliamentary committee to look into the case. Subsequently, Ivelin Mihaylov filed a lawsuit against the National Assembly over the committee's work.
In June 2026, Mihaylov announced the end of the "Historical Park" amusement complex near Varna, stating that he takes responsibility for the project.
The stated allegations in the criminal proceedings are accusations by the Prosecutor's Office — until a final conviction, the presumption of innocence applies.
