Deputy Minister of Culture Georgi Sultanov attended today the opening ceremony of the new academic year at the National School of Music and Performing Arts "Prof. Pancho Vladigerov" in Burgas.
The event took place in a solemn atmosphere, filled with expectation and excitement. The hall was filled with students, teachers and parents, eager to mark the beginning of the new academic year.
Among the official guests were a number of prominent figures from the fields of culture and education. Along with Georgi Sultanov, the regional governor Vladimir Krumov, the deputy mayor of Burgas Diana Savateva, the head of the Regional Educational Office Valentina Kamalieva and the director of the Burgas branch of the National Academy of Arts Prof. Svetozar Benchev were present. The presence of these representatives underlines the significance of the event and the high priority given to music and performing arts education in the region.
The new director of the school, Dimitar Madjarov, addressed the students with a solemn speech, reminding them that September 15 is not only a holiday of knowledge, but also of culture and art.
We are all burdened with one of the most responsible missions – to preserve the traditions of Bulgarian education and culture and at the same time to develop the skills of the children, he shared, emphasizing the difficult, but also extremely honorable task of the educators. His words were met with applause, reflecting the sense of responsibility and pride accompanying the beginning of the school year.
The celebration continued with an emotional address to the students from the actor Dimitar Marinov. With his characteristic charm and respect for art, he inspired the young people with his wise message:
in life, every day is a school day. With these words, he wished them to discover and uphold their worthy place in life.
The event concluded with congratulations on behalf of the mayor Dimitar Nikolov, as well as with received congratulatory addresses from the Minister of Culture Marian Bacheva, from the management of the National Academy of Music "Prof. Pancho Vladigerov" and other institutions. This was further proof of the recognition and respect enjoyed by the school in the community. The atmosphere after the end of the ceremony remained solemn and filled with hopes for a successful academic year, marked by the creative and intellectual development of young talents.
