The prestigious Bulgarian football club CSKA is intensively negotiating the acquisition of left defender Morgan Poaty, with negotiations entering a decisive phase. The Swiss team Lausanne, however, is setting specific conditions for the transfer realization, which could delay the deal.

The key requirement of the Swiss club is to first find an adequate replacement for Poaty before releasing him to the Bulgarian giant. This approach demonstrates the exceptional caution of Lausanne's management regarding their personnel policy.

It is indicative that the footballer continues to play full matches for his current team. Last week he participated in a match against Thun, which ended with a 1:2 result, and he is set to participate in a Conference League match against Kazakhstan's Astana.

Initial expectations were for Poaty to arrive in Sofia over the weekend for medical examinations and official presentation. A positive aspect is his current sporting form - the footballer regularly plays and in the event of a transfer will only need adaptation to the Bulgarian football standard.

A three-year contract has been prepared for the young defender, who has Congolese roots and Swiss football education. The transfer looks likely, but is not yet definitively confirmed.
