The regular meeting of the Council of Ministers has begun, at which important issues were discussed. Over 40 items are included on the agenda, covering a wide range of topics.
One of the main points is a draft decision to approve the expenses for business trips in the country for the third quarter of 2025 for various officials.
The ministers will also discuss a project to close the Council for Intelligent Growth, which will likely lead to changes in the organization of management.
Another important moment is the discussion of the terms and conditions for publishing information in the information system “Monitorstat”, maintained by the National Statistical Institute. This will affect the way data is provided to the public.
The meeting also includes a draft decision to ratify the agreement between Bulgaria and North Macedonia for the construction of a railway tunnel facility. This is key to improving transport links.
The ministers will also discuss the financing of the project “Modernization of the Vidin-Sofia railway line: railway section Medkovets – Sracimir”.
Finally, the government will discuss a project to approve internally compensated changes to the approved expenses by policy areas under the budget of the Ministry of Finance for 2025.
