A working meeting initiated by the non-governmental sector, which brought together state institutions and organizations working directly with young people, placed a key focus on national youth policies. Minister of Youth and Sports Encho Keryazov emphasized that his department views these structures as a fundamental element of the state strategy, promoting civic participation, the acquisition of key skills, and professional growth.

During the event, the Ministry of Youth and Sports announced the preparation of legislative amendments to the Youth Act. These changes provide for the introduction of clear regulatory definitions for "youth center," "youth work," and "youth worker," which should ensure predictability and a better legal framework for the sector.

Minister Keryazov recalled that he is well-acquainted with the needs of young people, based on his numerous contacts across the country. He stated the department's commitment: "Youth has always been among our most important priorities. I hope that this is evident not only from our words but also from our actions. That is precisely why we have secured an additional 1 million euros in the budget for youth policies." He called on those present to work together, adding: "It is important for us to hear your ideas, opinions, and suggestions. You have invaluable experience because you work on the ground every day. I am convinced that only together can we create better opportunities for young people in Bulgaria."

Among those present in the room were Deputy Minister of Youth and Sports Yulia Todorova, Deputy Minister of Education and Science Prof. Senya Terzieva, as well as Maria Yurukova, Secretary for Internal Policy and Civil Society to the President of the Republic of Bulgaria. It was confirmed that the institution maintains a constant dialogue with stakeholders, with the goal of uniting efforts to guarantee sustainable solutions in the interest of the youth.
