Construction and installation works on the water and sewage infrastructure in Sozopol are progressing with the construction of over 10 km of network. The project is part of a large-scale investment for the Burgas region.

Progress on Water and Sewerage Infrastructure in Sozopol

Construction and installation activities for the reconstruction of the water and sewerage network in Sozopol are showing significant progress. Experts from "Water Supply and Sewerage - Burgas" EAD confirmed that the pressure pipe from the "Budzhaka 2" pumping station, spanning nearly a kilometer, is fully completed.

The project is part of the "Integrated Water Project for Burgas Region" – one of the largest investments in the water and sewerage sector in Bulgaria, financed under the "Environment" Program 2021-2027.

Main project parameters:

Currently, a total of 11 out of 31 sites within the large-scale regional investment of over 210 million euros have already been put into operation. Work in Sozopol started in February and is being monitored by the local municipal authorities.
