The Municipality of Pomorie is taking large-scale actions to control the population of flying insects, planning a massive disinsection operation in the urban territory.
The official treatment is scheduled for July 30, 2025 (Wednesday), which will take place after 23:30. The operation will cover the entire urban area, with the aim of reducing the population of annoying flying insects.
Experts will use the specialized preparation Citrol 10/4 ULV, which contains the active ingredient cypermethrin. The product has official permission from the Ministry of Health, documented with registration number N 0292-2/29.09.2016.
According to official statements, the chosen chemical agent is completely safe for humans and domestic animals. However, local authorities recommend that residents take precautionary measures, such as closing windows and doors during the treatment.
The team responsible for the disinsection will carry out the treatment only under suitable meteorological conditions, ensuring maximum effectiveness of the intervention.
