Large-scale anti-drug operation dismantled a criminal network in Southern Turkey

Turkish law enforcement authorities conducted a large-scale specialized operation in seven urban districts, which ended with an extremely successful capture of drug traffickers and seizure of significant quantities of prohibited substances.

The Ministry of Internal Affairs of Turkey reported impressive results from a large-scale anti-drug operation conducted in the Adana region. The head of the agency, Ali Yerlikaya, announced details of the successful action through his official communication platform on "Facebook".

Law enforcement officers conducted a comprehensive investigation covering seven different urban districts. During the operation, a total of 38 individual addresses were thoroughly inspected, demonstrating the exceptional precision of the investigation.

The results of the action are more than impressive. Criminal experts managed to confiscate an impressive 825 kilograms of heroin, which represents a serious blow to organized crime. Parallel to the seized narcotic substances, the officers also uncovered evidence of other criminal activities.

During the operation, a total of 30 suspects were detained, who are believed to be directly involved in the distribution of prohibited substances. In addition to the drugs, the investigators also seized illegally possessed firearms, which further confirms the scale of criminal activity.

As an additional detail to the investigation, experts managed to collect a significant amount of digital materials that could serve as key evidence in further procedural proceedings.

This large-scale action demonstrates the determination of Turkish law enforcement to combat drug distribution and ensure public safety in the region.
