Today, we received a two-week advance extension of the derogation for Lukoil's refinery in Burgas for another six months. This was announced by the caretaker Prime Minister Andrey Gyurov on Facebook.

According to him, the extension will allow the refinery to continue to function normally, and it is expected to operate at full capacity.

The Prime Minister points out that the task of the special manager is to ensure the necessary supplies so that a shortage of fuel at petrol stations in the country is not allowed.

According to him, the decision was reached after a conversation with US Secretary of State Marco Rubio at the end of last week.

In February, the United Kingdom extended the term of the general license for Lukoil's subsidiaries in Bulgaria until mid-August this year. Initially, the license was valid until February 14.
