LinkedIn's digital professional network is taking a significant step in Bulgaria by introducing a modern system for verifying professional competencies. The new functionality, officially launched on July 24, 2025, allows direct integration with leading Bulgarian educational platforms.
Users can now automatically link certificates from renowned institutions such as Udemy, Coursera, SoftUni, and Telerik Academy to their professional profiles. The mechanism offers easy addition of verified skills from various fields - from programming and marketing to project management and digital technologies.
LinkedIn's statistics show extremely convincing results: candidates with verified skills have a 46-percent increase in the likelihood of being invited to an interview during automated resume scanning. Bulgaria is among the first Eastern European countries included in this large-scale expansion.
Platform experts emphasize that the innovation is a direct response to the growing need for precise documentation of professional qualifications. The new tool creates a transparent and reliable verification mechanism that benefits both job seekers and potential employers.
The extension will be available for users with Bulgarian language profiles and will be implemented gradually by the end of August. The goal is to create a more effective and objective approach to presenting professional skills in dynamic sectors such as information technology, finance, and digital marketing.
