Lazar girls from Nessebar delighted the municipality with a festive greeting

On the eve of Lazarus Saturday and Palm Sunday, children from the kindergartens in Nessebar performed festive songs and dances, wishing for fertility and good luck, adhering to Bulgarian traditions. Mayor Nikolay Dimitrov rewarded the children with sweets.

On the eve of the major Christian holidays – Lazarus Saturday and Palm Sunday, the building of Nesebar Municipality was visited by smiling and dressed in beautiful costumes little Lazar girls from Kindergarten “Yana Laskova”, Kindergarten “Moryache” and Kindergarten “Kalina Malina”.

Following the ritual, the girls from the three kindergartens performed festive songs and dances and, according to tradition, wished for fertility and luck, light and kindness.

The emotional greetings of the little Lazar girls brought a lot of color and good mood among both visitors and employees in the administration. After the end of the festive program, the children received treats on behalf of Mayor Nikolay Dimitrov.

Observing and celebrating Bulgarian traditions is a custom in Nesebar Municipality. The children from the kindergartens are active participants in patriotic initiatives and celebrations, reinforcing the Bulgarian spirit and national values.
