Dramatic footage of a spreading fire shook the Bulgarovo district today, after the fire, which originated from two private properties, threatened numerous buildings in the Loznitsa area. The municipal authorities in Burgas took immediate action to control the critical situation.
Mayor Dimitar Nikolov immediately activated the national emergency notification system BG-ALERT, issuing an urgent call to the local population for evacuation from the threatened zones. In parallel, a request was made to the military bases in Krumovo and Novo Selo for urgent aerial assistance with helicopters.
Six fire trucks and all available water tankers from Burgas are mobilized on the ground. The regional governor and the mayor are coordinating joint actions of the institutions, including police teams. At the moment, several buildings in the villa area have been burned, and the wind is further complicating the fire containment.
The situation remains extremely dynamic and tense, with local authorities making maximum efforts to limit the spread of the fire and protect human life.
