Theft in Old Sozopol: Two Women Detained, Money Returned

On 11.08, around 12:30, a 64-year-old Czech tourist reported a stolen wallet in the Old Town; a 20-year-old woman from Bulgarovo and a 40-year-old woman from Kameno have been detained.

On 11.08 this year around 12:30, a report was filed at the Sozopol Police Station by a 64-year-old Czech tourist that his wallet was stolen earlier in Old Sozopol.

According to the victim, the wallet contained:

As a result of joint actions with Kameno Police Station officers, the perpetrators were identified: a 20-year-old woman from Bulgarovo and a 40-year-old woman from Kameno. Both were detained at the Sozopol Police Station.

According to police information, the detainees made full confessions and returned the stolen money with a protocol, and subsequently indicated the location where they had discarded the other items.

Multiple procedural investigative actions were carried out - witnesses were questioned, the crime scene was examined, and video surveillance recordings were reviewed.

Work on the case continues and is being conducted by Sozopol Police Station officers.
