The Election Coordination Council to Give Briefing Today

A briefing by the Election Coordination Council on the preparation for the upcoming early parliamentary elections will be held today at 11:30 AM in the Council of Ministers building. Current processes will be discussed, including the preparation of privacy screens and the provision of QR codes for access to information for the visually impaired.

The Coordinating Council for the preparation of the upcoming early parliamentary elections will give a briefing today, the government press service announced. It will be held at 11:30 am in the building of the Council of Ministers. 

The last briefing of the coordinating council was on March 30. Then, the advisor to the caretaker Prime Minister on election issues, Vanya Nusheva, said that regional governors are already organizing the process of producing screens for the polling stations, and in some regions, public procurement procedures are already underway and the necessary materials have been secured.

Deputy Minister of Electronic Governance, Nikolay Minev, said that a QR code will be placed at each polling station to facilitate visually impaired people's access to information about candidate lists.
