Anna Maria Jopek Concert in Burgas: Cultural Cooperation between Bulgaria and Poland

The Polish Embassy in Bulgaria and the Municipality of Burgas are discussing future cultural initiatives. The focus is on the upcoming concert of Anna Maria Jopek in Burgas on May 23rd.

H.E. Mrs. Anna Yanishevska-Fronczek, Chargé d’affaires of Poland in Bulgaria, met with the Deputy Mayor for Culture and Religious Affairs of Burgas, Diana Savateva. During the meeting, the upcoming visit of the world-renowned Polish jazz performer Anna-Maria Jopek was announced, who will give a concert on May 23rd at the NHK Cultural Center. The event is a highlight in the city's cultural calendar and another example of the active cultural cooperation between Burgas and Poland.

Within the framework of the conversation, opportunities for future joint initiatives between Burgas Municipality, the Polish Embassy and Polish cities were also discussed. Burgas traditionally maintains good relations with Poland and is a twin city with Gdansk.

The honorary consul of Poland in Nessebar, Lidia Pietshik-Vangelova, and Anna Pahla, consul of the Republic of Poland, also participated in the meeting. During the visit, the representatives of the Polish delegation also met with the Deputy Mayor for Finance, Budget, Economy and Maritime Affairs, Stanimir Apostolov.
