The mayors of the districts in Varna will check the suitability of the anti-radiation shelters (PRS) in the city and will contact the managers of the floor property, the press center of the Regional Administration - Varna announced.

At a meeting to maintain the PRS, located in the sub-block spaces in the municipality of Varna, the regional governor, who is also the chairman of the Regional Security Council, outlined specific actions to check the condition of the shelters.

By 2000, the premises used for PRS in the municipality were 1857. The condition of the sheltering premises, the clearing of the approaches to them and the condition of the emergency exits will be checked according to a schedule. In residential buildings with PRS, the managers of the floor property will have to organize the removal of items that would hinder the accommodation of people in the shelters. The results of the inspections and the implementation of the instructions will be commented on at the end of June this year.
