A specialized team from the Varna Naval Base was tasked with surveying and identifying an unmanned aerial vehicle discovered on the seashore in the “Kabakum” area near the city of Varna. After an inspection, it was determined that the drone did not contain any explosive materials, and it was successfully transported to the Varna Naval Base.
In a separate operation, military specialists responded to a report of an object spotted in the waters of the Black Sea at coordinates near the city of Pomorie. After conducting the necessary reconnaissance, the service members confirmed that the discovered object was an unmanned aerial vehicle. Subsequently, it was destroyed on-site in the sea, in strict compliance with all safety measures.
Parallel to this, service members from the Varna Naval Base carried out a task to survey and identify another unmanned aerial vehicle found in the waters of the Black Sea in the “Pasha Dere” area, located south of the city of Varna. After the object was surveyed, the team took action to detonate it directly in the sea waters.
Additionally, yesterday evening, a specialized team from the Varna Naval Base was dispatched to identify a device spotted in the area of the “Kamchia” resort complex. After completing the reconnaissance, it was determined to be a wing from a military drone washed ashore by sea waves. Due to the lack of ammunition and the fact that the part posed no danger, it was transported to the Varna Naval Base. All the described operations were carried out by the specialized teams following an explicit order from the Chief of Defense and by order of the Commander of the Naval Forces.
