In a prolonged four-hour diplomatic dialogue in Brussels, Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi presented an extremely pragmatic position regarding the current geopolitical situation. According to informed sources, he directly stated that Beijing cannot allow a complete defeat of Russia, as this would enable the United States to completely redirect its strategic focus towards China.

Wang Yi categorically rejected all accusations of direct military or material support for Russia, paradoxically emphasizing that if China were actually supporting military actions, the conflict would have long since ended. The diplomat demonstrated an extremely firm position during the conversation, while simultaneously providing a detailed historical context to the European representative Kaja Kallas.

The official Chinese position, confirmed by Foreign Ministry spokesperson Mao Ning, emphasized the need for negotiations, cessation of military actions, and achieving lasting peace. Beijing insists that there are no fundamental conflicting interests between the European Union and China.

Parallel to the diplomatic negotiations, the Ukrainian Foreign Ministry presented evidence of suspicious connections between Chinese manufacturers and Russian military equipment. Deputy Minister Andrei Sybiga revealed an open unmanned drone "Shaheed-136"/"Geran-2" with components produced in China, including a documented photo with information about a Chinese manufacturer from June 20.

Chinese authorities continue to deny any involvement in military supplies, claiming that their companies comply with international sanctions regimes. However, Ukrainian services insist that Chinese firms circumvent restrictions through complex schemes and export of dual-use products.

This diplomatic episode clearly demonstrates the exceptional complexity of contemporary international relations, where each state pursues its own strategic interests in the context of global geopolitical dynamics.
