On October 16th, in the gloomy afternoon, around 12:22 p.m., on "Balgarka" street opposite the "OMV" gas station in the Burgas neighborhood "Vetren", a dramatic scene unfolded. A "Fiat Punto" car, bearing Burgas registration, went off the road and crashed. The cause of the incident, according to initial data, was loss of control by the driver, probably due to unfavorable weather conditions _- a wet road surface and rain. Behind the wheel of the car was a 79-year-old woman from the village of Shivarovo, near Ruen. After the crash, she was taken to "Deva Maria" hospital with a fracture of the first rib on the right and the second lumbar vertebra. Fortunately, her condition is described as stable, with no danger to her life.
The same day, around 1:44 p.m., the road between Aytos and the village of Karanovo witnessed another car accident. The incident happened in a section with an incline on the way up, which probably complicated the situation. A "Volkswagen Polo" car, also with Burgas registration, overturned in a roadside field. According to the information, the cause of the crash was driving at an inappropriate speed on a right turn, which led to loss of control. The driver, an 18-year-old young man from the village of Karanovo, with only two months of driving experience, suffered a concussion. Despite this, his condition is stable, with no danger to his life, and he has been admitted for treatment at "Heart and Brain" hospital.
