A state of emergency has been declared in the Russian region of Nevinnomyssk following a massive fire at a Wildberries logistics warehouse – one of the largest online retailers in Russia. According to preliminary data, the incident is the result of an attack by unmanned aerial vehicles.
According to information from the regional governor and local eyewitnesses, between 20 and 30 explosions were heard in the area. The fire at the warehouse facility remains active, which is hindering firefighting efforts. At the moment, eight casualties from the incident have been confirmed.
